Terms & Conditions

  
  1. Terms and conditions apply to all products and services provided by Fast-teks On-site Computer Services and are subject to change without notice.  See also terms and conditions printed on the reverse of invoices.

  2. Unless otherwise stated, one hour minimum service fee applies for each service engagement.  Travel fees apply to each and every on-site trip for service (see service rates).  Service rates and fixed rate services are subject to change without notice.

  3. Published rates apply to standard services, additional fees apply to additional services outside standard service offerings.  An example is when sub-contractors are required to provide specific skill sets outside standard service offerings.

  4. All sales are final, no refunds are offered for purchased equipment or services.  Limited equipment warranty and support is outlined within these terms and conditions.  All service and equipment is considered accepted as is once the invoice is approved.

  5. Payment in full is required at time of service and/or delivery of equipment.  Proposed (or estimated) engagements require payment in FULL being received prior to equipment being ordered or services being rendered.  

  6. Proposals (and estimates) are considered void if FULL payment is not received within 15 days from when they are dated.

  7. One hour minimum required for use of discount coupons, coupons apply to new customers only and are not valid for fixed rate services.  $20.00 discount coupons expire as of Jan 1, 2011

  8. On-site service may be converted to pick-up service based on the assessment of the problem and estimated work effort.

  9. Typical turn-around for pick-up, courier and carry-in service is 3-5 days, no turn-around guarantee is provided.  Promise dates are estimated based on current work volume and may change without notice.

  10. Limited 30 days remote and/or carry-in support does not apply to malicious software infection, operating system failure, functionality of software or non-purchased equipment failure.   

  11. Full drive archive is limited to the condition of the original drive, no data backup or recovery warranty is provided. 

  12. Delivery, installation and/or integration of equipment is not included in pricing unless specifically noted.  When delivery and/or installation is included in the price, service is limited to the equipment being delivered and testing of same.  It does not include additional equipment and/or services related the operation of the equipment in a given environment.

  13. Purchased equipment has a limited 90 days carry-in warranty for repair or replacement, and does not include on-site service or travel fees.

  14. Manufacture warranties apply to new equipment, Fast-teks does not provide warranty labor or replacement parts. 
     
  15. Online pricing is subject to change without notice and may be adjusted before a proposal or invoice is written.

  16. Images of equipment and software are representative and may not reflect actual configurations.

  17. Repairs may be outsourced to third party service centers as deemed appropriate based on the complexity and needs of a given repair.  Outsourcing of repairs may include shipping of equipment, standard shipping insurance is included, Fast-teks is not responsible for equipment when not in possession of it.

  18. Unclaimed customer equipment within 30 days of notification becomes property of Fast-teks.

  19. Fast-teks On-Site Computer Services, is a licensed business name (D.B.A.) of Teks Unlimited, Inc.
